You can now ask Shopify Sidekick about your Selleasy campaigns, performance and setup, right from your Shopify admin. Instead of opening the app and checking each campaign, just type a question like "How is Selleasy performing?" or "Why is my FBT campaign not showing?" and Sidekick will answer using your Selleasy data.
What is Shopify Sidekick?
Sidekick is Shopify's built-in AI assistant. It's available in your Shopify admin through the "Work with Sidekick" bar at the bottom of the screen or as an icon at the top right.
Sidekick can only read your Selleasy data. It cannot create, edit, pause or delete campaigns, or change any settings. To make any changes, open the Selleasy app to do them manually.
1. Getting started
- Open your Shopify admin.
- Click "Work with Sidekick" at the bottom of the screen, or click on Sidekick in Home page, or click the Sidekick icon at the top right.

- Type your question about Selleasy and press Enter.
- When you ask about Selleasy, Sidekick will ask for your permission to access the app's data. Allow it to continue.

2. What you can ask Sidekick
Topic | What Sidekick can tell you | Example questions |
Performance | Views, clicks, conversions and upsell revenue for today, the last 7 days, the last 30 days and all time | "How is Selleasy performing?"
"How much did Selleasy convert in the last 30 days?" |
Plan and credits | Your current plan, free trial days left, subscription status and AI credits used | "Which Selleasy plan am I on?"
"How many Selleasy AI credits do I have left?" |
Finding campaigns | Number of campaigns, where they run, their status (Active, Draft, Scheduled, Expired) and top performers | "How many Selleasy campaigns do I have?"
"What's running on my cart page?"
"Which campaign makes me the most money?" |
Campaign details | Trigger products, offer products, discount, schedule and performance of a campaign | "Explain my 'Checkout upsell' campaign."
"What triggers 'Product upsell / down-sell (Pop up)'?" |
Discounts | The discount each campaign gives and the discount method used | "List all my campaigns and the discount each one gives." |
Product search | Which campaigns include a product, as an offer product or as a trigger (including tag-based triggers) | "Which Selleasy campaign contains the product 'Stride T-shirt'?" |
Troubleshooting | Why a campaign is not showing, with a link to fix it | "Why is 'Frequently bought together (Classic)' not displaying?" |
Hereโs the example on the Sidekickโs response regarding Selleasy performance query:

3. Troubleshooting campaigns with Sidekick
When a campaign isn't showing in your store, Sidekick runs a set of checks and tells you what's blocking it. It checks whether:
- The Selleasy widget is enabled.
- The campaign is active and within its schedule.
- The offer products are valid.
- The Selleasy app embed is enabled in your theme.
- The widget's app block is added in the theme template (for embedded page widgets).
- Selleasy is selected as the post-purchase app in your Shopify checkout settings (post-purchase campaigns).
If it finds a problem, Sidekick shares a direct link to the page where you can fix it. For example, it can link you to the theme editor to enable the app embed as shown in the example below.

For checkout upsell campaigns, Sidekick cannot confirm whether the Selleasy block is added in the checkout editor. It will share a link to the checkout editor so you can check it yourself.
4. Tips for better answers
- Mention "Selleasy" in your question. Sidekick can often work out that you mean Selleasy, but naming the app gives more accurate results. For example, "What products are in the Selleasy campaign 'Post purchase upsell test collection'?" works better than "What products are in 'Post purchase upsell test collection'?"
- Use the exact campaign name as it appears in the Selleasy app, in quotes.
- Ask follow-up questions. If an answer seems incomplete, ask Sidekick to check further.
